The COVID-19 case count increased in Wisconsin throughout the week starting July 10, although the state hasn’t reached May levels quite yet, according to data from the state Department of Health Services.

The seven-day average of daily cases has been on a steady rise since the first week of July, after declining since mid-May, when the state averaged 2,200 cases a day.

The Wisconsin Hospital Association reported the highest number of COVID-19 patients since March on Thursday (430 patients), however that number dropped to 415 patients on Friday.
