Coronavirus: L.A. County reported 5,920 new cases and 13 more deaths since Saturday – LA Daily News
Los Angeles County public health officials reported 5,920 new cases of the coronavirus since Saturday, bringing the total number of cases to 2,877,960 as of Monday, May 2.
Officials reported 13 more deaths linked to the coronavirus, for a total of 31,970 deaths since tracking began.
There 28 fewer hospitalizations reported since Saturday, bringing the total count of people hospitalized with coronavirus to 253.
According to the California Department of Public Health’s vaccines dashboard, 75% of Los Angeles County is fully vaccinated.
