One more person has died of COVID-19 in New Hampshire as the average rate of new cases has nearly tripled in the past month.State health officials said the person who died was a Hillsborough County woman age 60 or older. There have been 2,481 deaths attributed to COVID-19 in New Hampshire since the pandemic began.New Hampshire is now averaging 384 new COVID-19 cases per day, the highest rate since Feb. 19. On April 1, the state was averaging 130 new cases per day.There are 2,989 known active cases of COVID-19 in New Hampshire.The New Hampshire Hospital Association said 92 patients in the state’s hospitals have COVID-19. Of those, 26 are being treated for serious cases of COVID-19, while the others are hospitalized for other reasons.
