Majority Says Worst of the Pandemic Is Behind Us – Statista

YouGov and The Economist ran a survey to find out how U.S. adults are feeling about the Coronavirus pandemic right now. They found that where 68 percent of respondents thought that the peak of the pandemic is behind us, 10 percent thought that we are still currently experiencing the height of it, versus 7 percent who thought the worst was yet to come.

Looking along party divides, Republicans were slightly more likely to say that the worst of the pandemic has passed (76 percent) and very few thought it would likely get worse (2 percent), compared to slightly more caution from the Democrats (66 percent said the worst is behind, 9 percent said its peak still lies ahead) and Independents (62 percent said the worst is behind, 8 percent said ahead).
